Help:How to add pictures

There are any ways to add a picture to a page. But first the picture needs to be uploaded to the Wiki.

Please make sure that the photo is available to be licensed under Creative Commons.

Please resize the photo before uploading. The recommended size if 800 pixels high or wide.

from Toolbox menu select Upload File
select the file from your computer using the Browse button
give the picture a descriptive name
- spaces are allowed in the name
- end the name with the file type, for instance .jpg
add a description of the photo
- where the description is of an event add a link to the event with prefix Photo::, for instance [[Photo::Mardi Gras Parade/2010]]
- if the photo is taken by someone else add an attribution
- if the photo is from another website add a link to that website
