A Replies are usually sent within 48 hrs. If you haven't received a reply it is probably because you have sent an invalid email address and I can't determine your real email address. Find out what your email address is before trying to contact Pinkboard again.

Other things to check are whether your mail box is full, if the email is in your junk email box, or if the email has been filtered by your spam filtering.

Q How much does AO@P membership cost?

A If you join by credit card online it is a once off charge of $5. If you send evidence of age there is no charge. The credit card payment is used to verify your age. All proceeds go towards keeping Pinkboard running.

Q How long does my membership last?

A Membership of AO@P is showing evidence of age. Membership continues while you remain 18 years old or above. Memberships may be deleted after an extended period of inactivity.

Q Is this a one time charge or is it every time I access Pinkboard?

A This is a one time charge. You will only be charged $5 total for membership of AO@P. The amount will be charged to Pinkboard, Surry Hills.

Q If I send ID do I also need to pay $5 to join AO@P?

A The $5 is ensure that the credit card is valid. If you send evidence of age then you do not need to send $5. A payment of $5 by cheque or money order is not acceptable as evidence of age. Pinkboard does accept donations though. Please make them payable to Real Time Idiom.

Q Can I use another email address apart from the address I used to register for AO@P?

A The email address used for AO@P is not used for anything except AO@P membership details. You may use a different email address if you want in Pinkboard Personals and Pinkboard Classifieds. There is, however, still a limit of one ad per person per week.

Q Why doesn't my email address work with Pinkboard Personals?

A The login for AO@P is purely for adult verification purposes. The email address is to verify your identity in case you need a new password or have some other query. The email address is not connected to, nor is it used with Pinkboard Personal or Classifieds. If you place an ad you need to supply a valid email address, this can be any email address. If you are replying to an ad then the link on the page will connect to your email program and use that to send the reply. The configuration of your email program is not affected or controlled by anything on Pinkboard. Please also read the Personals FAQ.

Q How do I set or change the email address to reply to ads?

A Your AO@P address is not used when you reply to ads. The email used to reply to ads is set up by you in your email program. The configuration of your email program is not affected or controlled by anything on Pinkboard.

Q Why can't you email me a password?

A The passwords are automatically generated and sent by a special program. The are immediately hashed and stored in the password database. They are not kept in the original form on Pinkboard.

Q How do I find out what information you have for my membership?

A Go to AO@P Member Details. You will need to log on to access this information.

Q How do I change the email address of other details on my membership?

A Email me the new details. Please also include your registered email address so that I can verify your identity. This email address is the only information that can be used to identify you so please make sure you remember which email address you used to register.

Q I am having problems getting into AO@P or Pinkboard Personals.

A First check that you are typing in your user name and password exactly correctly. Make sure you use upper or lower case exactly as given. If you are still having problems please try the solutions here. If these tips don't solve your problem please ask for a new password. Most problems people have are due to typing errors.

Q I placed a Personal a while ago, and came back to check up on it, and have a browse around, but I keep getting asked for User Names and Passwords?

A The code used to activate your ad does not give you access to AO@P. Your ad will only be visible to AO@P members if you placed an R rated ad, or if your G rated ad has not been checked or has been rejected. You can view your ad status (if it is still in the system) by going to the activate page and typing the ad activation password. Also see the Personals FAQ.
