Pinkboard's Graffiti Walls are moderated. This happened because a few people persisted in writing possibly libelous, abusive, nasty and uncivil comments on the Graffiti Walls.

All comments posted to the Graffiti Walls are checked by a moderator before being made available to the general public. After being checked by the moderator the comments will be made available for everyone to read and reply to.

Moderation is performed by volunteer moderators and myself (Panther).

• preventing potentially libelous, discriminatory, abusive and uncivil comments
• making sure content is rated
• ensuring discussions remain on-topic
• allowing people to have their reasonable say

Moderation is not:

• censorship
• preventing views being aired
• correcting typing errors

Comments will not be allowed that:

• are potentially libelous under the laws of NSW and Australia. This is defined as comments that could detrimentally effect the reputation of a person. Truth is not a defence against libel under NSW law.
• are abusive of a person - limit your comments to what the person says
• are destructively critical of a person, event, company, etc
• are discriminatory on the grounds of race, gender, sexual preference, age, etc
• off topic for a particular wall
• repeated across more than one wall (only put your message only on one wall)
• personal or classified ads - See Pinkboard Personals, Pinkboard Classifieds, Pinkboard Adult Classifieds
• are discussing moderation policy
• contain 4 letter words
• are all in upper case (shouting)
