The Mardi Gras Parade - 2nd March
The showcase of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival is the
Parade. It is the largest night time parade in the world with, this year,
over 5000 participants making up 190 floats and walking groups
and it is Australia's biggest, most exciting event of Lesbian and Gay pride.

to watch the parade, which was also telecast around the world to
15 million viewers.
